This project will support 30 land managers to deliver on-ground actions that improve land condition across 48,000 hectares. Funding will focus on watercourses that offer the greatest potential impact and require substantial investment due to their challenging terrain and sensitive environments. The effectiveness of these on-ground works will be rigorously evaluated, with positive outcomes shared with the wider community. Overall, the project will play a vital role in strengthening coordinated and strategic pest and weed management across the Southern Gulf region.
This project is funded by Queensland Government’s Natural Resource Management Expansion Program.
