Our Work Sustainable Agriculture E-Beef Smart Farming in North Queensland
The E-Beef Smart Farming in Northern Queensland project is about implementing best management grazing practice through demonstrating how timely management decisions enhance pastures, groundcover, soils, land condition, business profitability and adaptability.
The E-Beef Smart Farming project is a partnership comprising Southern Gulf NRM, Desert Channels Queensland, Gulf Savannah NRM and the Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries.
The implementation of the E-beef Smart Farm project across three NRM regions demonstrates how new tools and technologies can be used to make effective time-critical management decisions.
The E-Beef project is supported by a partnership comprising Southern Gulf NRM, Desert Channels Queensland, Northern Gulf RMG, and Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries
Funding for the project is from the Australian Government’s National Landcare program and the Queensland Government Drought and Climate Adaptation Program
Southern Gulf NRM is a not-for-profit community-based organisation working through partnerships to implement strategic planning and investment activities that care for our region’s natural and cultural assets.
