Donald Coventry

          Chief Executive Officer
         

Donald Coventry commenced as the Chief Executive Officer of Southern Gulf Catchments in August 2007. Donald has extensive experience in both the not for profit sector and the areas of communication, community and environmental management.

Maree Berlin

Business Manager
 

Maree manages the finances and day to day running of the business. Maree has been with Southern Gulf Catchments since January 2006, after working in Local Government in South East Queensland for 8 years. She brings with her a strong Finance and Accounting background.

Natasha Packman

Communications and Executive Support
 

Natasha joined Southern Gulf in 2007 and takes care of Communications and Executive Support along with all things to do with Administration.

Kate Masters

Programs Manager
 

Kate re-joined Southern Gulf Catchments as the Program Manager, which involves working with project staff to deliver the Regional Investment Strategy. Kate studied a Bachelor of Natural Resource Management at Roseworthy Collage Campus (Adelaide University) The University of Adelaide. Whilst at University, Kate worked as a farm hand and piggery attendant.  She started at Southern Gulf Catchments in 2005 as a Project Officer and in early 2006, Kate moved to Townsville to work for Burdekin Dry Tropics NRM.

Charles Curry

Projects Coordinator
 

Charles has worked at Southern Gulf for more than 8 years in a range of roles from programs development to acting Executive Officer. Now as Projects Coordinator, he primarily is implementing weed management programs across the region. Charles holds a Bachelor of Science (Forestry) from the University of Melbourne. Before moving to Queensland, he worked with Melbourne Water. 

Jeremy Hayden

GIS Coordinator
 

Jeremy has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Rural Technology from the University of Queensland, Gatton Campus. Having worked as a Project Officer in Central Queensland,  Jeremy has joined Southern Gulf Catchments in May 2006 to develop a Geographical Information System for the Southern Gulf Catchments region and offer services in the area of property infrastructure mapping, and to facilitate other GIS based projects.

Tanya Willis

Cultural Heritage Coordinator
 

Since commencing in late 2006, Tanya has been facilitating Southern Gulfs' Indigenous Cultural Heritage and Biodiversity Programs.

 

 

 

Southern Gulf aims to: Protect and restore biodiversity values, Arrest land degradation, Improve water quality through decreased sedimentation, Facilitate coastal and marine management

SGC is also the Commonwealth and State accredited body preparing an integrated natural resource management plan and investment strategy for the region
