Executive Assistant

Southern Gulf Catchments is a community-based organisation tasked with strategic and sustainable natural resource management (NRM) planning and implementation in the southern Gulf of Carpentaria region of Queensland.

This area covers 195,000 square kilometres and comprises the catchments of the Flinders-Cloncurry, Leichhardt and Gregory-Nicholson Rivers, Settlement Creek and Morning Inlet, plus the Wellesley Islands group.

This role will support:
- Answering general client enquiries and/or professionally directing calls within the business
- Administrating the mail process, bookings and the completion of orders
- Provide Executive support to Board, management, finance and staff
- Communications i.e. media release development, website maintenance etc

With a mature and helpful nature, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate or willing to develop...
- MS Office package skills
- An ability to effectively communicate with others and to support their needs
- Ability to deal with a diverse range of people
- A professional, articulate and helpful telephone manner
- Excellent organisational skills
- An understanding or an ability to learn Prime Time for web management

- An ability to learn Quickbooks/MYOB
